Kevin Crossley-Holland will be joining Ipswich Children’s Book Group for a special evening in Woodbridge this April, as part of the group’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
This event offers a wonderful opportunity to hear Kevin speak about a lifetime of writing shaped by myth, legend and history. From the world of Asgard to the stories of Camelot, and from encounters with Beowulf to the richness of the Middle Ages, the evening promises a wide-ranging and engaging journey through the landscapes that have inspired his work.
The event will be held at The John Gibbins Gallery at The Longshed, beside the River Deben in Woodbridge – an especially fitting setting, in the shadow of the Sutton Hoo ship reconstruction, for an author so closely connected with Anglo-Saxon literature and storytelling.
