We are delighted to announce that Kevin Crossley-Holland’s Kata and Tor has been shortlisted in the 11–13 years category for the Historical Association’s Young Quills Award 2026.
The annual awards celebrate outstanding historical fiction for children and young adults. Shortlisted books are chosen with the help of young readers from schools across the country.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony this autumn.
